A man asked his wife to choose between iPhone 17 pro max or N1.5M to stock up her shop, being typically Nigerian she chose iPhone 17 pro max and the husband dutifully bought the phone and gave to her. She was so overjoyed that she finally own the latest iPhone.

Three months later while she attending to a customer in her shop, the phone fell from her desk and the screen broke, to fix the screen more than N400K which she couldn’t afford. She came back to the husband to beg for his help to fix the screen but he declined and told her that the phone is her responsibility, that she ought to have picked an option that she could manage rather than going for a device she couldn’t really maintain or manage, she was furious that he was being unreasonable and wicked towards her. Her argument was that since he bought the phone for her He should be able to fix it for her since He is her husband and the man argued that she wasn’t wise at all to have picked the phone option when should have opted for the N1.5M to stock her shop and perhaps raise even more money to buy a phone of her choice in the future And that since she has made her choice, she would live by it, this has caused serious rift between the couple to the point where the lady in question is now threatening to quit the marriage.

Now the real Question is, who do you think was right and who was wrong in this instance??
