#badgelife that's a hackerspace in miniature: half art piece, half soldering kit, half capture-the-flag. (Yes, that's three halves. I know.)
Members get a personalised badge with their name on it, as a small thanks for their support.
Our first-ever badge for a hackerspace, Bit Haven runs on a genuinely noble cause - opening hacker culture to anyone who wants in. Thanks to Stephen & Taylor for trusting us with it.
🫶 their motto : Morally Aligned. Slightly Misconfigured.

When @BsidesCLT mentioned the TRON theme for this year, I was thrilled to design an artefact glowing with neon blinks encoded with puzzles hidden in plain sight.
Watch the patterns. Decode the signals. Some secrets only reveal themselves if you look closer. #badgelife
Huge thanks to @HackTheBayCon and @MPalacios_Cyber for the warm introduction and the kind words!
Great energy and lots happening at the Soldering Village.
Excited to be hosting a workshop at the @HackTheBayCon - this time with a brand-new, fancy custom badge (hint 🌉🌁).
Right after that, I’ll be heading to the @OneRSAC and looking forward to catching up with many of you there. If you’re around, come say hi!
One of the reasons I love going to cons is to connect with PEOPLE in the Infosec and hacker community.
People always astound me with their kindness, creativity, and stories.
There is more that connects us than divides us. Remember that. 🫶
Turns out a broken LED filament = opportunity for a glow-up! Fixed my @arcanuminfosec badge I got at DC33 with a new color. Thanks to @TweetsFromPanda for the part number reference! Now it’s truly unique.

HEY MOM IM XBOW
Full week since we kicked off the second ever Bug Bounty village (@BugBountyDEFCON) at @defcon . It was an insane crazy weekend where we met and connected with so many great people, and we had a lot of fun doing it.
@infinitelogins and myself have spent a huge amount of time working on this village, a lot of people have absolutely no idea how much work and time it takes, and that's why partnering with the right people is crucial. I'm very thankful to have worked with such amazing team of volunteers.
We have received around 4000 people in the village during the weekend, we had a CTF for the first time ever, we gave away thousands of items of swag, including challenge coins, electronic badges, and a bunch of other sponsor provided swag items.
We are proud to say that we had all the major bug bounty platforms supporting us, and we put many of them in a panel in the same room. We had representatives of some of the biggest Bug Bounty Programs in the industry, and of course some of the best hackers in the world giving talks, workshops and panels in our Village.
Thanks to every single one of you who made this possible by volunteering, sponsoring, investing your time on a talk, panel or workshop, or simply if you decided to invest your time at DEF CON in our village, you all know who you are, and we are forever grateful for your time and support.
If you are a bug bounty hunter or want to get into it, and you are not following us, you are missing out!
Please make sure to follow us on social, and join our Mailing list. We plan to keep uploading content for the next couple of months, and we will keep doing a bunch of giveaways so more and more members of our community can keep learning and growing.
