Hon Kyagulanyi @HEBobiwine , I have followed your posts for a long time, and I cannot help but notice that much of what you communicate about Uganda focuses on insecurity, abductions and everything that is wrong with the country.

But here is the reality, when you paint Uganda as an entirely unsafe and hopeless country, the damage does not fall on the Museveni family you are fighting but it falls on ordinary Ugandans.

Uganda needs investment, tourism, jobs, businesses and capital to finance development and improve public services. Our national budget cannot depend on taxes alone, we also need responsible borrowing and, importantly, private investment. Constantly portraying the country as uninvestable can scare away the very investors whose capital could create jobs and opportunities for our people.

A leader should not only point out what is wrong, they should also offer hope, solutions and a reason for people to believe in their country.

Criticism is necessary, but when everything becomes negative, it starts looking less like leadership and more like political opportunism. Uganda is not perfect, but neither is everything about Uganda bad. We owe Ugandans a more balanced and responsible conversation about our country.@Ntalebrian22

The Revival played an important role in transforming Ankole, helping our people move away from alcoholism, tobacco, adultery, dishonesty and superstition, while promoting education, hygiene and family values. I was pleased to see the Church continuing to contribute to socio-economic transformation, including through coffee growing and environmental protection.

I will also take up the proposal to construct a Revival Museum. We should preserve this history because it is part of our contribution to the civilisation of our people and to humanity.

I concluded the five-day East African Revival Ankole Convention today at St. John’s Cathedral, Ruharo, in Mbarara. I conveyed greetings from Maama Janet and thanked the Bishops of Ankole for remembering this important anniversary.

I thank the Lord because He has really favoured me. I first came to the church compound in 1949 as a small boy, and returned in 1953 and 1959. To come back after 77 years is a great blessing. Praise be to the Lord.
