‼️Meanwhile, protests and frustration within Ukrainian society continue to grow. This is what the demonstrations look like today, Friday, Jul 31, 2026.

The reason remains the same: the abrupt halt of military reform and the dismissal of Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, who had built strong working relationships with Elon Musk and the American side. Much of the public frustration is now directed at the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The anger is also fueled by the approaching winter, ongoing problems with mobilization, and growing concerns about Ukraine's relationship with the United States and other partners.

By dismissing Fedorov, Kyiv cut off one of its strongest sources of military innovation - an area that had made Ukraine particularly attractive to both American and European partners.

We continue to carry out our deep and mid-range strikes against Russian infrastructure facilities that prop up Russia’s aggression. Our strikes under the long-range sanctions plan are always about justified responses aimed at depriving the Russian war machine of its resources. In particular, today action was taken against three logistics centers in different regions of the Russian Federation – in Sarapul, Kazan, and Volgograd, at distances ranging from around 500 to nearly 1,300 kilometers.

In the Krasnodar region, a maritime terminal was hit. The facility is about 270 kilometers from the front line. Also, nearly 480 kilometers from the line of contact, an oil refinery in the Volgograd region was hit. There were also successful strikes in the Sea of Azov.

Over this week, the Russians have launched more than 2,300 attack drones, nearly 1,560 guided aerial bombs, and 108 missiles of various types against our people. All these strikes were directed simply at ordinary civilian infrastructure – residential buildings and energy facilities. Every day, we are working to ensure greater protection against Russian terror. Yesterday, we received a new IRIS-T launcher. We thank Germany for its constant contribution to protecting people; thousands upon thousands of lives have been saved thanks to such strong support. But we also need missiles for air defense systems so that we have sufficient capabilities to repel Russian attacks.

This week, there were significant arrangements with Sweden – a new support package, including for strengthening our aviation with Gripen fighter jets. As for the PURL initiative, there are new contributions this year, and support for this initiative must continue. We are counting on both the United States and European partners. It is anti-ballistic defense that is one of the key priorities for Ukraine.

Strong air defense can provide greater protection for our people and deprive Russia of its last remaining advantage. I thank all partners who are helping, who are ready to respond effectively to Moscow’s attempts to expand and escalate its war. It is very important that this be clearly understood there: choosing war will have consequences. I am grateful to everyone who stands with Ukraine.

Не сделали ничего, чтобы предотвратить трагедию. Обвинили жертв. Отключили интернет тем, кто пытается помочь

В апреле в Дагестане из-за прорыва дамбы затопило посёлок Мамедкала: разрушенные дома, тысячи пострадавших, несколько погибших. Дамбу признали опасной ещё 20 лет назад, но власти не сделали ничего, чтобы предотвратить катастрофу. Зато глава Дагестана, единоросс Сергей Меликов, после трагедии обвинил жителей и заявил, что они пострадали из-за собственной беспечности.

При этом волонтёры жаловались, что помогать пострадавшим мешали блокировки интернета. Блокировки, которые не нужны никому, кроме людей, которые захватили власть в нашей стране.
