@tacoluvr3 People be like "block me if not interested", but how about you have some impulse control and leave the people who haven't replied to you alone
@tacoluvr3 Some people on that app think that because they don't have a life, no one does.
I remember getting stupid questions like 'what are you doing?' at 11 in the morning on a Wednesday.
And then there's the people asking if you can come over at 3 AM on a weekday.
I'm a 33 yr old man who spent his 20s unemployed living with his parents. I have no talent or ability and I hate talking to people. Is there some sort of job I can get in an underground lab or experimental research facility?
@DaveMilbo It's not even just the 'America saves the world' movies. Watching a movie like 'Mercy', I see the same propaganda-style working towards a pre-conceived conclusion.
'this "event" literally didn't happen'
And? Do you understand the concept of hypotheticals and why it's useful to have the ability to discuss them?
An asteroid strike that wipes us all out hasn't happened either, it's still worthy of consideration of what we would do when faced by such an event.
Being duped or not by whatever has literally nothing to do with anything, nor is 'being real' a prerequisite for talking about what we're seeing here.
Because, again, we know events like this - annoying pricks being annoying pricks until they meet a physical response - happen constantly.
I'm terribly sorry if that's too hard to understand and you need to tell yourself others are 'coping' because they can differentiate between an incident and the 'what would you do if ...' question behind it. But that'd be the real cope here.
"We don’t live in a utopia safe enough to forego the opportunity to use modern law enforcement tools."
We'll never live in an utopia if we let technology shape our society, instead of having it serve us.
Oh, and the sentence that follows the one I quoted is hilarious, in the context of your post. Maybe don't let the internet control any of us?
@BobGolen My airfryer, oven, fridge and almost every other appliance I can think of work just like that though and most of these are only a few years old.
Isn't is mostly a choice to have the annoying smart devices? They seem pretty easy to avoid imho.
I was seeing a thread elsewhere about glasses that cost 600 dollars.
Americans need to realise they're just making everything expensive for themselves with this tipping thing.
Your money doesn't get more purchasing power if everyone just gets more money and is expected to give more. That only pushes up inflation and helps no one in the end.
You've got the world's highest GDP but most of it is just inflation running rampant because everyone's pushing prices up further.
@FreeThought1492@nogoodreasonn@emptycars13 Lol tell that the guy I originally responded to.
Also, no. I won't stop shaming the thing that is usually an unnecessary practice forced upon children who can't consent to it.
@Aaroneni5@FredReddy88476@MbarkCherguia If he had enough momentum before the clip starts, it's not impossible to move without peddling.
Also, who cares whether it's real or not? We all know there are clowns everywhere who do things like this and think they're funny.
