Appoint me as the CEO of the State Transport Company. I will provide my own KPIs for one and half years. Sack me if I don't meet them.

We can't sit aloof while appointees run this only asset in the transport sector down. Your appointee took over from someone who had run 180 buses left in 2016 without adding a single bus to that. And to cover his incompetence, introduced an alliance model that enriched NPP cronies.

At least, the alliance model under the NPP ensured buses were branded in STC colours and driven by STC trained drivers. Now your CEO, the NDC appointee sources buses from the Neoplan stations for passengers holding valid STC tickets. The buses are mostly dirty, stinking, and driven by drivers who are not just uncultured, but reckless.

In some cases, STC trained drivers just sit in the bus as passengers observing these drivers.

This is UNACCEPTABLE.

I have a model to bring back this asset to its full glory. I am open to discussions. I could use the Gonja/Builsa playing mates approach but this is a pressing issue that deserves to be treated as such.

I watched a video where a South African man openly told a Somali shop owner that they intended to loot his food shop on a specific day. It raises a serious question: what if the shop owner, out of fear or desperation, decided to contaminate or poison the food items before allowing them to be looted?

Situations like this show how dangerous threats, intimidation, and lawlessness can become. When people push others into corners through violence or intimidation, the outcome can easily turn tragic for everyone involved.
