@CMerandi In 2016 I needed relief of a 3 day bedridden HORRIBLE MIGRAINE! I went to Urgent care, told reluctant Doc “would an addict request one pill? The dr wrote script for 1 pill, Walgreens DIDN’T want to fill it!They were horrible to me but finally filled the one pill script. INSANE!
What are “high level limits” or high limits” a doctor would know EXACTLY HOW to accurately calculate a patients needs. That is, of course, if the doctors truly care and listen to their patients needs. I’m with you 100% on this no one is taking notes…no one cares about his patients or the doctors.
This HONESTLY made me cry. In 2018 I attended a Congressional Briefing on Addiction vs Dependence and heard horrific stories from oncologists, MD’s and PhD scientists on the horror of cancer patients being denied pain medication at ERs across the United States. Nearly 8 years ago we were trying to alert Congress to the real suffering of Chronic Pain patients after the “shut down” of access to pain medications to people who truly need them. The last thing a person in acute chronic pain is thinking …”getting high” they just want to not suffer any longer. In this day and age no one should have to suffer. But they are. Not only suffering but dying as a result. You are so correct this should be an actionable offenses.
@BrianHa24140826@ibdgirl76 I think it’s Great you didn’t need pain medication. Your tolerance to pain must be very high. What you are lacking, I think, is compassion for those who have a low tolerance for pain. Many responsible people who are low tolerance manage opioids for years without addiction.
@DanishVikingGA@ibdgirl76 Some surgeons will gaslight you 100% absolutely! I found out after discussing first knee replacement surgery about having adequate pain care. I did not have adequate paincare they gave me gabapentin I had a reaction, delayed surgery and 3 days in hospital. Worst pain of my life.
@CMerandi@joerogan I think @joerogan does want to help people. At least I have faith in humanity…if he could meet people who have a good quality of life and manage Opioids well, for decades even, he would have a better understanding of the harm being done to folks who are denied.
@CMerandi@DrOz I am hoping that Dr. Oz sees your post. Thankfully I have not had this happen to me but taking Buprenorphine is almost as bad. My dental appt yesterday..my Dentist sees more tooth decay since last X-rays. She is convinced now that the Buprenorphine is the culprit.
@KatTimpf I wish for you peace when your heart breaks the most. Your choice to honor your father’s life moving forward by being present everyday is what he would have wanted for your life. Losing family hurts so badly but courage to move forward is our greatest honor to their memory. ❤️
A Personal Tribute from Jeff & Kathryn Piotrowski – 15 Years After the Joplin EF-5.
There are very few days in a lifetime that reveal the true character of a place and its people. May 22, 2011, was that day for Joplin. We were there that Sunday afternoon as the violent EF-5 tornado tore through the city.
What we witnessed in the minutes and hours that followed remains one of the most devastating scenes we have ever seen in over 40 years of storm chasing.
The tornado erased entire neighborhoods in minutes.
What had been a beautiful, thriving community—families gathered for Sunday dinner, students celebrating graduation weekend, children playing under the trees—vanished under a roar that defies description.
In its wake lay unspeakable destruction and heartbreaking loss. In the immediate aftermath, like so many others that day, we simply went to work — digging through rubble, searching for survivors, and helping however we could.
We will never forget the voices calling out from the debris, the courage of neighbors helping neighbors, and the quiet dignity of those who kept searching even as they grieved their own losses. We remember Amber Munson and the many other survivors whose lives were forever altered in an instant.
We made such lasting relationships with so many people of the Joplin community. Linda Lindquist Baldwin, Kandi Peterson, Carole Liston, Myra Koeneke, Dave Turner, Judy Owens-Lowe, Eddie and many others.
We also will forever honor and remember those whose lives our paths crossed who are no longer with us, Georgia “Nadine” Mulkey, Ray Donald “Tripp” Miller, Mark Farmer, Rick Fox and finally a hero among heroes Mark Lindquist. God Bless them all.
We remember the final moments shared with those who did not make it, and the sacred weight of bearing witness to such profound loss.
Most of all, we remember the 161 lives taken that day. And we remember the spirit of Joplin — a city that refused to be defined by tragedy. Fifteen years later, Joplin stands as a powerful example of what a community can become when it chooses to rebuild with strength, unity, and hope.
Neighbors became family. Strangers became heroes. A city that was nearly erased chose instead to rise stronger.
Joplin on this 15th anniversary, we honor your loss. We honor your resilience. We honor the love and courage that still define you. Stronger. Together. Always. God Bless You, Joplin.

@0riettaRose There are many new nurses that only care about the making of the buck with no extra effort. It would be like me being an aircraft mechanic never wanting to go the extra mile to deliver a suburb products. Sad.
@KatTimpf@Gutfeldfox Wishing you comfort and peace. Hold onto that extraordinary Love and strength that your precious father shared with you and your son. It is such a gift…you will carry on his legacy in the sharing of stories about him with your son. God Bless you and your family in this sorrow.
@Z_XSophie This absolutely infuriates me. Quite literally the left and all associated actors were saying Elon made the Nazi salute. Spreading their ridiculous hate far and wide. Most understood, meant my heart to yours, only an idiot would not know now this, they are insane! #standfortruth
@end3of6days9 I don’t know have you ever thought to say “ hey….how about we clean the bathroom together and I want to go over some cleaning tips and reasons why hygiene and cleanliness is so important now and for the rest of your life.” If he doesn’t “get it” take his things away! Double down
