@tomkektv I think there is a clear seperation between qol gameplay loop ( flying, mount speed, mob health) and class combat.
I much rather see wotlk/cata combat but in the classic world, journey and pacing.
@Shobektv I agree, but my issue is just the classic class design is just boring. I love the journey, the world and the pacing but I wish we had more cata/wotlk style combat.
@TruskisPro You guys are doing a great job, the first time we are seeing "immersion" changes to the layering system in a long time.
The original non-layered vanilla client system ultimate benchmark to replicate.
@EricDziadzio Classic is great but far from perfect, especially combat was really slow and unbalanced, 50 seconds sheep and saps, 30 warriors in raids.
I want a classic game: World main character, slow levling, journey not destination but with modern wotlk/cata combat.
@valarynn I agree, but building on what's already have been done is also good imo. Like the Cata warrior team cooked hard, why discard all their hard work instead of just incorporate it, why re-invent the wheel.
@JamieKaos They are confused because the system is garbage.
It's made by engineers not game designers, it's made for scale and efficiency not for immersion.
The guild and language shared layer is the first changes they are making since Legion.
@ManiakSmith I want wow forever to be like cata/wrath but in terms of combat and class design.
Literally everything else should be like classic.
Imo classic was never good because of combat but because of the gameplay loop.
@Funkjamzz@fwprism Tell your son that it's part of life to be able to handle critisism. Life is tough people are mean. Rewarding victim behavior just leads to weakness later in life. Just shrug it of.
@KabhaalVT Imo the whole retail formula since TBC was just bad and it never changed or improved.
- 4 to 8 zones in an isolated continent
- dispose all zones, raids and content on new expansions
