I agree that we are conditioned into certain behaviors by our material reality, but I also believe that there is a kind of concrete human nature that has been prevalent for all of history, that being the basic need for socialization, and cooperation. Even in Capitalism people yearn for that.

The human nature I was talking about above specifically is how even when you present facts and logic to people, they defend their beliefs until they die. It seems to me that humans get swayed by emotions and sentiments rather than facts.
