Charlie was the best of us. He was always kind and respectful to those he debated even in the face of insults. He was an outstanding debater, was a master with words, had a keen intellect, and a sharp memory. He was genuine and funny.

They couldn't best him in the realm of ideas so they killed him for it.

For reasons we cannot know or understand, God called him home and no doubt told him "Well done."
