@carrieprimary Oh.
You have just verbalised my feelings. I used to be an always good (sometimes outstanding) teacher. Now I am okay-ish.
Home is where you have to be the best.
The job is impossible. Home life is almost impossible.
I hope you can find balance... I can't!
@emmalgsutton We did a shorter holiday this year, after last year’s disaster. And with the understanding if it was too much, we would come home.
Can’t see us ever going abroad!
@SPRenewables We've been trying to register to your SEG tariff for 2 weeks now. We provide all information, get to confirmation page, click Submit & nothing happens.
Are we wasting our time with you? Do you not want more customers on SEG tariffs?
I've just found an old email from our SW at the time, saying Bug's SW was worried about us not having other children & how it was felt he would do better not as an only child.
How wrong they were. He would be so much better as an only child!!!
How I thought tea time would be: lovely tea all eating together round the table discussing our day.
Today's reality:
Big is eating his tea in his bedroom, it's all food that he can pick at
Little is munching on his whilst watching his tablet & walking around
Us: having it later!
This week has been full on... I mean it always had the potential but it has been ridiculous!
My Gran's funeral on Tues
Work received a phone call on Tues afternoon.
Funny old day on Wed with only some pupils in school.
Ofsted Thurs & Fri.
Gin this evening!
@MatthewTheGay It depends.
Why are you thinking of going back? Would things have changed?
Was the issue the school (toxic environment) or the workload?
@WanderingPsych Nope. Not important for students.
School might try to tell you otherwise, as it's measure of success used by government (or something else to beat us with)? But honestly not important for pupils.
