Two Oceans Marine was founded in 1989 and is one of South Africa's premier design and manufacturing facilities for ocean-going production and custom craft.
The Two Oceans 870 Power Catamaran is more than a vessel; she’s a milestone, a reflection of every challenge met and the sum of the passion that built her.
Built beneath the shadow of Table Mountain, the ECLIPSE 505 embodies the talent and passion of Cape Town boatbuilders, celebrated worldwide for their craft.
A handful of faces here, but many more hands behind the scenes. Every ECLIPSE 505 carries the dedication of an entire team who put their heart into every detail.
The Two Oceans 870 Power Catamaran – fondly named Amavi – set out on her maiden voyage.
Designed by Du Toit Yacht Design, and built by Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing, she carries more than just craftmanship – she carries the passion, pride and countless hands that shaped her.
Another Two Oceans 555 Power Catamaran has touched water!
She will be heading to the USA where HMY Yacht Sales will hand her over to the proud new owners.

In the early hours of the morning on Friday 19 September 2025, the Two Oceans 870 Power Catamaran — fondly known as 'Amavi' — embarked from Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront and set out on her maiden voyage.
Throwback to a month ago when the NSRI's 6th Offshore Rescue Craft, for NSRI Station 6 in Gqeberha, launched. In the last month she has undergone sea trials, arrived home in Gqeberha and within a week of her arrival she already faced tough sea conditions on her first callout.
On Friday, the team proudly dressed up in celebration of Heritage Day, a day in South Africa to honour and celebrate our diverse cultures, traditions, and histories. At Two Oceans Marine, we embrace this spirit by recognising our people's rich heritage.
"In 2020 I was asked to build the @NSRI ORCs. And it meant a lot to me — as a guy who loves boats and the ocean — knowing that these amazing ORCS are made for South African seas and going out to save lives."
