Fingers tightened slightly around his forearm as he leaned into the kiss without hesitation. When Obi-Wan pulled back, Cody opened his eyes slowly, a faint smirk tugging at his mouth.
"Mm," he murmured, voice roughened just a touch. "You're making a compelling argument."
Kenobi took that as an invitation and leaned down. He closed the distance and kissed him, angling slightly so that his beard wasn't in the way.
He stayed there a moment before pulling back. "Persuaded?"
Cody inhaled slowly through his nose, steadying himself despite the way his shoulders betrayed him under Obi-Wan's touch.
"Don't start something you're too tired to finish, Obi-Wan," he murmured, voice low but edged with warmth.
One hand lifted, reaching back to rest over >
He hummed a response, his gaze focused on the thumb on his wrist. All other thought practically stopped.
This was that tipping point. His gaze flicked back to other's eyes.
"Sleep, you say?" He said in a teasing whisper, his thumb digging slightly into a knot.
His gaze didn't waver, one brow arching faintly. "I'd confiscate your datapad," he said evenly.
His hand slid to Obi-Wan's wrist, thumb brushing slow and deliberate. "March you to bed… and make sure you actually rest this time."
"Ah so its a vicious cycle then?" He said with a chuckle. His blue eyes held Cody's brown ones.
"What would you do to me if you found out I overworked myself?"
Cody huffed softly, tilting his head back just enough to look up at him.
"Don't you dare compare me to Anakin Skywalker," he muttered, though his eyes slipped closed at the massage.
"…If I'm staying up, it's because someone has to keep you from overworking yourself too."
He barely glanced up at first, fingers still resting on the datapad.
"It's not that late," he murmured, though he didn't shrug off the blanket.
After a beat, his shoulders eased. "...You're right. Five more minutes."
He glared at him for a moment.
"What I meant by 'in a way' is our method of execution. Would I go to the same lengths? Possibly, but it would be against the code."
