@boardgamebbq Mosaic. Didn't get it played until this year, but it was worth the wait in terms of giving a good civ game experience in just a couple of hours.
@mattthr I like games where negotiation arises naturally from the design, rather than being a formal mechanism. Paolo Mori's Dogs of War is a fantastic example - the shared rewards have players dealing and betraying without any actual negotiation mechanisms at all.
@TheBrokenMeeple I think the combination of the wonderful components with the simple points vs. engine building puzzle make this a polyomino classic. Much better than Silver and Gold.
@NateSilver538 I suspect the D overperformance in swing states could be related to a better ground game where it mattered. As a related point, low quality candidates tend to have bad ground games.
@Wallyworld555 @MHunter9000@BartHanson The law is that released felons can vote. But the state of Florida won't tell people if they still owe outstanding fines or tickets, and if you do and vote, they can then throw you in prison. The intention is to subvert the law, not uphold it.
@Boardgamesguy@eric_lang I almost responded with this one myself. I too have a pile of games to review, and I just don't have the play group to work through the campaign right now.
