@FaithTCG I'd have to find it in the sets somewhere but my wife kept a bunch of her childhood cards and there was a 1996 Pocket Monsters Base Set Charizard. Before they even nicknamed it Pokemon
Reminder to everyone going to the Indianapolis Pokemon tournament this weekend. Take a shower. Wear deodorant. We all know that one guy who forgot to wash his ass π
@kumxem Technically? That was my mom I had to call her when I was 18 and ask how to brown ground beef π it went exactly like this:
"Mom, how do you brown ground beef?"
"Huh??!"
"Yeah, you know those round ground beef packages? How do you brown the ground beef?"
"I failed you huh π€¦"
@VexxDelta Copium at its finest. If it comes back it will only be a fraction of what it used to be. We'd never be so lucky to see enhanced rampage + enhanced kill clip ππ
@La_Costaaa We weren't sure at first but we took the eeveelutions from Prismatic and sent them in. They didn't all ten but the one that mattered did and at least we have a sequential set!
@crashobs@redbullau Also how were the match ups against the grass decks? I'm curious because I've been debating on using something similar for the Indy regionals
@gvnnar So there's two sides to Pokemon right now if you're trying to rip packs. 1: wait in line at Target for several hours on restock day. 2: go to the local card shop and hope they have stuff at or near MSRP. Typically it's market price though. Only one store around here is MSRP
@Pokemonpshot That one really strong dragon type that everyone hates to play in current tournaments but I don't care because they are still my favorite
