@Smoove00777 I remember it, shortly before the Twitter era. Allegedly Iverson was ready to hop on a plane but McHale balked at including then rookie Randy Foye in the deal.
@JohnEPalm@DietBeginsMon The “trade the old timers for younger players and picks” path is interesting. I guess I’m just frustrated with where they are and what their options appear to be to genuinely progress. Doesn’t seem too possible immediately. That said: the broader west is in the same boat.
@Minnball1@rudek14 I’m not saying don’t do it if that’s what it takes. Just that I don’t think that’s what it should take. NAW range feels closer, Kinda depends on who they trade for too (if anyone). Useful piece for sure!
Lot’s of Ayo chatter and I assume some roster change will occur, allowing it to be rather simple. While we’re here: is this really a $20 million guy?! Not sure I see it, anywhere.
@WolvesG00D@DietBeginsMon Yeah I don’t see this as a doom convo either. When I say that I “could see it,” I don’t think it comes at a point of standard franchise misery. Just could be how things shake out for a number of potential reasons.
@allthingsmn NAW contract is about where it should be (15 ish). Maybe even lower. It’s a strange hill to die on, not sure why I’m participating in the convo 😂😂
