That’s right. Or you can ask your robot to make whatever. But who will control what products get made and how many different varieties? Will AI’s compete for “market” share with their products? (Sounds pretty great). Man the world is going to look so different in another 5-10 years.
@Govindtwtt Of course individuals will have all the time (and presumably the tools) to dream and innovate….. but when it comes to producing their ideas for the masses at scale it will be pure altruism or ego that would drive someone to do that in the new paradigm.
The problem with the everything is free scenario is that there will be no incentive for anyone to make anything. If you can’t make money at it why would you? I’m sure we can trust our benevolent government overlords to make sure all of this limitless production capacity is deployed for our maximum happiness..no, they will determine the minimum amount they can give us that will prevent riots and keep us dependent on them
Modern existence is a constant barrage of inputs and required outputs and decisions. The rate of demanded information processing and “always on” availability is exhausting. AI helps with that and I am grateful that it does give me back some of that cognitive load for what matters most.
@JVMonte2 I live in Texas. My two favorite artists right now happen to (randomly) be Dutch pop. Both are unknown here but amazing….Haevn and Celine Cairo.
@noir_myspecial1 The usage limits stop me cold every month, even with the Python in Excel License. Sooo….I installed Python on my machine and learned how to work with Excel files.
@DrMach@elonmuskphotosX They are amazing! Planned a trip to Europe in October around seeing them. Now, check out another Amsterdam artist, Celine Cairo. Equally incredible.
