@DPrello Depends… in Seattle, applications must be processed in the order received. The first applicant to qualify must be offered the apartment first. The landlord can only charge the actual cost for processing the application. For any application not processed, the fee must be refunded

@aakashgupta Last year at Burning Man I stood in line for 45 mins at a camp making and serving breakfast. At 40 minutes in, I realized Emma Watson was standing in front of me the whole time.

I didn’t want to treat her like a celebrity. Instead, I commented on her hat and she thanked me.

@davidryanhenry The barn door in our room at the Kimpton in Seattle had a 1” gap on one side and my husband refused to poop with me in the room. Had to leave the room and go to the bar. That 1” cost me two espresso martinis.

Has anyone else living in East Downtown Houston had issues with getting a @lyft or @Uber driver to accept a ride recently? I’m finding that both services are terrible at the moment. Requested a priority on Lyft that quoted a driver in under 3 mins. Waited over 15 mins.

@ModernTrailhead @ayeejuju Add the cost for fuel to get to the grocery store, the insurance and depreciation on the car, personal time to shop and cook, the electricity and gas used at home, etc.

Businesses have a lot of overhead to take into account when pricing food, not just the cost of ingredients.

@Socdem_Michael As someone who is in the process of relocating out of Texas, the discussions about specific endorsements are becoming toxic and are not influencing me to delay my relocation so I can vote in Texas this fall.
