@nffc_tim Oh, that is a great and more salient point. Can't expect a midfielder to cover as much ground as EA, but Diomande looks like he can fill a lot of those gaps.
U.S. President Donald Trump has offered his support to the embattled Gianni Infantino by saying it would be a “terrible mistake” if he is removed as FIFA president.
Trump’s post on Truth Social on Monday night followed an open letter from UEFA, Concacaf and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), where they said trust had been “broken through deception” and remained steadfast in no longer wanting him to continue in his role.

It's fascinating that the "Texas is the only state with the right to secede and become an independent nation" crowd also sees what's happening at Big Bend National Park as something entirely beyond Texas' control.
Imagine being the Governor of Texas who allowed Big Bend to be ripped apart to appease the whims of a fading grifter.
How does it feel to sell our state’s heritage & grandeur so cheaply, @GregAbbott_TX?
🚨 EXCL: Nottingham Forest set to sign Ousmane Diomande from Sporting CP. Deal being finalised for coveted #SportingCP centre-back at €40m. 22yo Ivory Coast int’l expected to travel tonight & do medical before joining #NFFC on 5yr contract @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/joMbMMlR8X
Not to change the subject from burritos but when I was earning poverty wages in my 20s I used to go to Subway nearly every day and get a footlong Italian sub for 5 dollars. It was generally the only big meal I would eat in a day.
If I was hungry later at night, I could always swing by McDonald’s and grab a chicken sandwich for a dollar.
All of these people are screaming about “eating at home” but I basically never made meals at home in those days and I was able to get by. You used to be able to survive on low wages without making meals from scratch. If that’s not possible anymore then it’s a sign that our standard of living is declining. That’s a problem. You should care about that.
Anyway, I went to a Subway recently and that same sandwich was 13 dollars. McDonald’s, of course, doesn’t sell anything for a dollar anymore.

For all the casuals that missed everything that happened this NFL off-season, here's a quick recap
1. Dianna Russini was riding the dick off of Mike Vrabel for scoops
2. Every sports account is a prediction market affiliate
3. The Rams took a QB at 13 that McVay hates
4. Banner year for DUIs. Tony Romo embraced his inner Cowboy with one. Kyle Shanahan embraced his inner 49er by getting out of one. I think Jordan Addison had like 6
5. Stefon Diggs choked the shit out of his chef that he was banging then got 12 million from the Commanders who love that shit. The tried to trade for Josh Jacobs for the same reason.
6. Brandon Aiyuk became a role model to everyone who ever wanted to be a CTE influencer
7. ESPN fired everyone cool except Matt Miller who lost his arm then even more tragically was outed as a scammer
8. Aaron Rodgers reconciled with his family for attention
9. Falcons have two left handed QBs (Penix, Tua) with zero right brain cells
10. Tom Brady went off the deep end
11. Dolphins held tryouts from local citizens of Miami for every position
12. The 49ers electrical substation became sentient and went full Widow's Bay
13. Travis Kelce married an older woman. Rashee Rice missed the wedding because he was in jail for having a shitty knee or something
14. The NFL can eject players from games even when referees missed something (the DK Metcalf rule)
15. Everyone that tore an ACL or dislocated something is somehow on track to play Week 1
16. The fat kid from Superbad is going to kick your ass
