"doom's magic is an ancient magic— he studies his foes. he knows that if he's going to step on a battlefield against somebody that he has to have the tactical advantage against that person so he's very difficult to beat
doom is much more machavelian and manipulative than thanos"
sounds just the right person to stan🫣
Endgame explains that going into the past creates a branch; it doesn't rewrite your own present. Steve staying with Peggy isn't the contradiction. He simply lived in another timeline, grew old, then returned to the main one. The only unexplained part is exactly how he returned.
If Christopher Abbot sees anything on social media, I want him to know that the crowd in D23 having a muted applause is probably the biggest indicator of generational casting. You are about to become the most iconic one to ever do it. I promise.
@thedarkknight_u@ThePandaSupreme@cosmic_marvel We've had years of setup for the Multiverse and incursions. IW didn't reintroduce the Avengers, Guardians, Wakanda, etc. Doomsday can split its cast into groups just like IW did. And for the RDJ/Doom mystery, let Doom be Doom. Save that explanation for Secret Wars.
Joe Russo says Doctor Doom is a “Machiavellian and manipulative” villain in ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’
“He is a very powerful character... He’s a genius. He studied his foes, he understands them, and he’s also well planned. He’s not somebody who just does something off the cuff.
So, everything is meticulous with him, and he knows that, if he’s going to step on a battlefield against somebody, he has to have the tactical advantage or a power advantage against that person. So, he’s very difficult to beat.”

@theronhart@jewelzaid1998 I genuinely don’t see what point you’re making here. What does expecting comic accuracy from adaptations have to do with the MCU using 616 as its own prime-universe designation? Those are two completely separate arguments.
@youandmewhen@rickitas@Earth936@jewelzaid1998 By this logic, you'd also have to argue that the comics must respect the MCU's Multiverse collapsing in Avengers: Doomsday and being rebooted in Secret Wars, along with its history and canon explanations for things we already know work completely differently in the comics.
It is 616. Pretty simple concept: the MCU exists within a different Multiverse from the comics, allowing it to have its own multiversal collapse without affecting comic continuity. So, within the MCU's continuity, its prime universe can be 616. This is such a non-issue.
I hate that Feige and the MCU has kept pushing and pushing for the MCU to be called "Earth-616" when the MCU ISN'T 616.
Either call it "Earth-19K" or call it "Earth-5808" as a reference to when Iron Man 1 came out.
Expecting sex because you paid for dinner is coercion. It’s part of rape culture. Hope that helps. If your generosity comes with a sexual invoice, you weren’t being romantic ... you were trying to purchase access to someone’s body.

He's not gonna have a solid grasp on how to sing these songs because they're not supposed to be a part of his upbringing. They go out of their way in a flashback to show this SPECIFICALLY with Outkast
