@BallparkEGuides @OleTimeHardball All that is great. Those numbers are fantastic and he played 21 years. Great guy great player. Not the greatest SS ever that people like to say he is. His yearly averages in hits, HRs and BA are lower than Robinson Cano, Lou Whitaker and Bobby Abreu

@timpduffy @OleTimeHardball During his greatest years he was never a better hitter in the AL than Boggs or Mattingly. Trammel and Yount were better SS statistically in the 80s. Until Arod, Jeter, and Nomar hit the league in the late 90s no other 90s SS was good. I think he’s overhyped. Just my opinion
