@elonmusk I am not sure of every state but in Georgia you can be a judge without being an attorney only at the magistrate court level which is the lowest level. All State court and Superior Court Judges and Court of Appeals and Supreme Court Judges are lawyers with law degrees.

It is important to discuss the obvious that you also have walls around you and the Vatican. What does that say about you and the Church? You should not throw stones if you live in a glass house.
We could all benefit from taking a step back before making comments and look at our homes and situations before judging others. It is unclear if this was really said by the Pope, I certainly hope not. God bless.
