When Tyler started playing (4yrs ago) I was given a helpful bit of advice, count the saves not the clean sheets. U16's 2023-2024 season has now ended - here are the numbers.
24 Games 214 shots on target (inc pens) 160 saves (4/5 pens) 75% shot:save ratio!!

Proud Dad moment, Tyler has played a large portion of the season filling in for the u18's in goal, often playing u18's and u16's games back to back. Cockerham put together and impressive 15 game winning streak to win the title with 4 games left. Outstanding effort!

Congratulations to the players, officials and supporters of Cockerham Junior FC on winning the Youth Division Red title 🏆⚽️👏👏👏

@DaveJBailey13 How many scouts do you have that actively go and watch random games (and how far afield do they go) with the view of talent spotting the 'unknown' players Dave? (this isn't a dig, I'm genuinely interested from a personal/personal development aspect)

Can anyone help/point me in the right direction? Looking for a 'supercar' to take my son to Prom in June (Blackpool Area). Thanks in advance! In other news Tyler made his u18's debut on Sun, some big saves in a 6-2 win 😀 then played brilliantly for his u16's team, winning 1-0

Retweet for Copa Mundial - custom sole plate. (You won’t find another pair in the world like this)

@werekickingoff Had the challenge not been made, Parris is clean through on goal with the keeper to beat, the 'covering defender' is nowhere. The heavy touch/direction of ball is because of the keepers actions so aren't a point of consideration here. Red card all day.

Just like that, the season comes to an end (I'm lying, this has felt like the season that would never end!!)
I was told a couple of years ago to count the saves, not clean sheets.
265 shots on target (Inc pens) 182 saves. 69% save to shot ratio, which I think is pretty good 👍

Not posted for a while - here's a little video of Tyler doing some mid height catches followed by covering the goal drills taken whilst training this weekend :)

@mickquinn1089 AR puts his hands on the lino after confronting him, gets what he deserves then cries about it.... games gone soft.

[Mike Clark (Tyler) @Ty_Clark1]

@AWP79 To be fair mate, his teams pretty good and doesn't get any of that, even on the odd occasion he drops a clanger, that said there's never been any takers when he had Covid etc... #GKunion

Testing few weeks for Tyler, 9-1 defeat (29 saves) 4-1 defeat (14 saves) 3-0 defeat (11 saves) 5-1 win (6 saves). Takes true resilience to be a GK!! Here's some saves.... 1st save after 15 secs last with 15 secs to go...

[Mike Clark (Tyler) @Ty_Clark1]

@AWP79 I agree Andy, I think the proudest part for me was half expecting his head to drop/shoulders to slump but then seeing the character of him come thru to keep going and not let it effect his personal performance.

@georgiebingham The statement the family issued said the Police, with their permission, released the details as some scum had tried to sell the story to the red tops.
