Our group’s initial foundations were built on helping our struggling team near the bottom of the table.

Getting behind a successful side & a team going in the right direction is a lot easier than getting behind a side continuously struggling at the wrong end of the table. The scenes and moments our fans created in moments our club needed it most are rarely or never seen in relegation battles. Our fans didn’t give up, we done the opposite.

We’ve always hoped there would be brighter days ahead again for us to also get behind & right now we are going in the right direction, still a long way off where we need and would like to be but it’s a great feeling looking ahead rather than behind.

We may not get into Europe this season but we have given ourselves a great chance of achieving something that just 12 month ago seemed so so far away.

Our fans getting behind the players and our players giving our fans something to get behind goes hand in hand. We both have huge roles to play.

On Tuesday night v Bournemouth, let’s make our ground really feel like home. Let’s kick every ball with our players, win every tackle with them & get behind them just as much as we did when times were tough. Let’s be positive and help push them on to the next level.

They're fucking kids, not Israeli kids, not Palestinians kids, just kids. They're exactly like mine and exactly like yours, imagine for a second that someone considered their murder justifiable because they happened to be born in a place where decisions were made by politicians they aren't even aware of, what would you think of those people? Calling for Israel/Palestine to be turned into a human abattoir from your homes in NY, London or any other safe place while you tuck your children in at night is something you should never be allowed to recover from. Today, I'm thinking of all those in Israel and Palestine suffering unimaginable pain, trauma and fear.

The horrific attacks on civilians in Israel were deplorable. This cannot justify the indiscriminate killing of Palestinians, who are paying the price for a crime they did not commit.

Half of Gaza’s population are children. Trapped in an open-air prison without food, water, gas or electricity, they are watching their homes turn to rubble with nowhere to go.

We should condemn the use of violence against all civilians, Israeli and Palestinian. And we must renew our calls for an immediate ceasefire to prevent any further loss of life.

In times of war, we need more voices for peace — and the only way to achieve peace is to end the occupation.
