2027 INF | Tyler Burpee

Tyler Burpee continues to establish himself as one of South Florida’s top uncommitted middle infielders in the 2027 class. The St. Thomas Aquinas standout has put together a strong summer at the plate, hitting .364 with a .517 OBP and a 1.027 OPS through four tournaments while going a perfect 8-for-8 on stolen base attempts.

Burpee’s athleticism shows up on both sides of the ball. He owns a 90 MPH infield velocity, 95+ exit velocity, and 6.6-second 60-yard dash, while providing defensive versatility with experience at SS, 3B, and 2B. In the classroom, he carries an impressive 4.6 GPA, adding to an already attractive recruiting profile.

With upcoming appearances at the I-95 Metro and Showball showcases, Burpee will have another opportunity to update his metrics and continue building momentum. A high-academic, athletic infielder with offensive production and defensive versatility, he’s a name college coaches should continue to monitor.
