BREAKING: Nine-time NBA All-Star Damian Lillard is finalizing a three-year, $42 million contract to return to the Portland Trail Blazers, sources tell ESPN. Deal is expected to include a player option in 2027-28 and a no-trade clause. A storybook reunion home for the 35-year-old.
@Axel_Foley13@BradyTrett your post contradicts that saying they’ll regret the contracts sooner rather than later. They could miss the next 3 playoffs and all of these deals would still be worth it. But there’s absolutely 0 reason to believe they won’t be right back next year. 0.
@ThePowerOfMax@LenexaSportsfan@QuintonLucasKC 41 nights out of the year + any playoff games. Plus probable renovations from the new franchise coming in. It’s a no brainer yes for the arena
@TCR901@ragn_ur@mercsogyny no, McLaren wanted to dance around the mistake instead of outright telling Lando what they wanted. Lando made them man up and make a decision finally, something they seem to have trouble with. They’ve been racing for how long and continue to make bonehead moves. Racers race.
@TCR901@ragn_ur@mercsogyny it’s not his responsibility to worry about the driver dynamic. It’s his responsibility to go fast and win races. The team put them in that situation and got lucky Lando is class.
