#Illini will apparently face the full Texas Tech roster (minus the injured JT Toppin) on Tuesday.

NEWS: Texas Tech’s Jamichael Stillwell has been granted a temporary restraining order and is eligible to play against Illinois on Tuesday, per multiple reports.

@19Danimal Yesssssss

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

This tailgating squirrel can’t even with the wait at the porta-potties.

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

@norad88A Yeah, I worry a little bit about the sustainability when guys are playing 30+ minutes instead of 20.

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Andrej Stojakovic is absolutely gassed as he heads to locker room at halftime.

That’s what 21 points and 5 rebounds in 15 minutes looks like.

#Illini up 53-30 at the break. Impressive defense after the first 10 minutes.

Using KenPom’s formula, Illinois used 87 possessions in tonight’s win against Penn. It’s the most possessions in a game in Underwood’s #Illini tenure - including OT games!

Underwood casually mentioned at the end of the postgame press conference that he wants to get to 90. 😳

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Zavier Zens tonight.
#Illini

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

@ILLBoardRoom Watching Penn run sets to get 18 foot jumpers was making me 🤮

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Zavier Zens. Crafty.

He stepped smoothly into the void left by the injured Jake Davis and responded with 18 points (4-8 from three). #Illini

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Ethan Brown is likely done for the night. He finished with 13 points/10 rebounds/5 assists.

The question is who gets a triple double first between him and Quentin Coleman (17/3/2).

#Illini

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Zvonimir Ivisic with the seventh dunk of the night for the #Illini puts them over the century mark for the second time in as many games to start the season. 101-55 with 5:08 left.

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Tomi to Z. Brother to Brother. Flush. #Illini

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

90-53 #Illini at the under 8 TO.

It was 23-22 at one point.

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Brad Underwood not happy with the current group on the floor. Hockey substitution incoming. #Illini

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Second pick-6 dunk of the night for Stefan Vaaks. Dude has been a menace on defense tonight. #Illni

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Penn going wth a small lineup and Tomislav Ivisic is absolutely D-ing up Penn’s 6’0” AJ Levine. #Illini

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Brad Underwood to official Nate Harris after the Andrej Stojakovic foul:

“Please go look at that when you get a chance and come back to tell me how wrong you were.”

#Illini

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

@j_d_live No doubt. Have to wonder if this pace is sustainable for a whole season.

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Penn’s Lucas Lueth just absolutely threw down on Zvonimir Ivisic. Big Z had him measured and everything. Impressive stuff. 🫡

[Tyler Cottingham @TylerCott]

Back to back run out dunks for Andrej Stojakovic and Stefan Vaaks. It’s 14-0 run for the #Illini who are suddenly up 41-23.

Fran wants a timeout.
