Anchored by point guard Rori Harmon, Texas women's basketball put forth a special product on the defensive end in the 2025-26 season.

There are no moral victories in the NCAA Tournament, and the post-Harmon era now leaves plenty uncertain. But the level of defensive success this year, amplified through a handful of SEC-leading statistics, sustained and even elevated the standard set in head coach Vic Schaefer’s program.
