East Union's Ethan Lamontagne beat cancer twice before he even finished his freshman year of high school. This February, he underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor, then had 6 weeks of radiation. He would leave treatment and head to the ball field a lot of times. Today he got into the game as a runner as his East Union Urchins won their 2nd straight state title. He is pictured here with East Union coach Chris Lucius, who himself battled cancer this year during the season.

This title means a lot to this community for a lot of reasons. This exemplifies "Noone Fights Alone".
