@TheLocalWisdom@NQpilot Everyone’s actions have hurt Christ. No one clears that bar. Everyone is welcome anyways. What do Trump or Pelosi have to do with that?
Do you know their heart? I’m not here to quibble on modesty but I will stand up for giving grace to differing views and interpretations.
@KimballCall My approach here is direct, with no emotion, and focused on the arguments because I think that will appeal to you. I don’t know you and I have no responsibility for you but I do care to stand up for people like Riley and I would like to see a more aware discourse.
@KimballCall I can only see two possibilities: you’re unaware of the rhetorical situation and therefore you fell short of the mark. Or you are looking for engagement and sacrificing another persons feelings to do it. And again look at how I’m engaging with you. It’s tailored to fit you.
@Hasher555@KimballCall I’m fat and obnoxious online. Those are common, publicly visible short comings and I could be your bishop. Not one of us measures up to Christ. Many great people live the gospel differently but I want them here. Give me the earnest Saint I disagree with over the publicly perfect.
@Crazzmatazzy I remember why I love BYU football. It’s time I spend with my dad. Talking strategy with him, the big moments, even the losses where you’re hashing out what happened with him. I imagine a lot of Utes feel the same. In a way we’re cheering for the same team and love the same thing
@LOBig12 BYU fan here. Iowa state has a great team. I think they deserve the top spot because they’re a well rounded, smart, and relatively consistent team. BYU has talent but I’m always left wondering if we’re getting away with mistakes. Transitive wins are fleeting
(top 10 most viewed . . . folks are interested) What to know about the more drought-resistant grass now legal in Utah https://t.co/0hQda6yatS via @KSLcom
I will always wonder..
"What if we just let the grass breathe and uncover it? What if we just didn't over water the grass?"
BYU replaced the field prior to the 2009 season..
That field was as slippery or more slippery than the field i played on.
Wonder if the issue is more of a ground crew issue than it is a install/grass type issue?
@CriddleBenjamin You should give me a call. I have a Ph.D. in turfgrass. I teach the grasses class at BYU and consult with many sports teams (including BYU). I understand this issue and can shed light rather than speculation. Happy to help @CriddleBenjamin
@_sky_sorensen_ I agree! I don’t need to be obnoxious to defend my beliefs. I just need to be loving and open. If others are abrasive I’m better off leaving them to act that way than joining them at that level.
@iiTz_Tyrell This is a perfect summary of how I feel about it too. People are more important than football and I’m tired of the constant press of some pushing others down because of a beautiful game. Every game is another chance to spend with my family. Let’s share that together!
