AMD vs Nvidia

AMD's upcoming "Venice" server CPU, Zen 6, up to 256 cores, 2nm, is projected to deliver 3.3x the per-rack performance of Nvidia's new Vera chip, with per-core gains up to 27%.

But AMD built that claim using Nvidia's own favorable benchmarks, arguing it wins even on Nvidia's terms.

These are AMD's internal projections, though not independent tests. AMD is also already teasing "Verano," its first AI-specific CPU on Zen 7 and 1.4nm.

The real test comes when independent benchmarks land later this year, for now it's just AMD's word against Nvidia's.

Election expert shows South Dakota officials that their election system is completely vulnerable to fraud, loading the entire election system on a separate laptop, he is able to change passwords, decrypt data, manipulate, duplicate, or alter vote totals, outside the official, certified environment.

The software isn't hardware-bound or encrypted in a way that prevents unauthorized use and was used in the 2020 election and many others.

According to Pew Research, 83% of Americans support requiring a government issued photo ID to vote.

Here’s how things stand today:

Only 23 states require a photo ID to vote.

13 more require some form of identification.

14 states (plus D.C.) do not require voters to show any ID at the polls. 👀

Yet we need an ID for:

- Boarding a commercial flight
- Opening a bank account
- Buying a home
- Renting an apartment
- Renting a car
- Buying alcohol
- Buying tobacco products
- Purchasing a firearm
- Collecting Social Security benefits
- Getting a passport
- Obtaining a driver’s license
- Registering a vehicle
- Picking up prescriptions
- Checking into a hotel
- Purchasing a cell phone
- Entering a nightclub

But requiring an ID to hire the most powerful employee in America is considered offensive?

By the way, California is one of the states that does not require a photo ID to vote.

THE ENEMY IS HERE: California tech executive and dual U.S.-Iranian citizen arrested for allegedly running a decades-long scheme to illegally sell critical U.S. computer equipment to Iran’s military and nuclear programs.

The wealthy Orange County businessman, who lived in a $35 million mansion in Newport Beach, is accused of selling components directly to Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization between 2017 and 2023, in violation of U.S. sanctions.

U.S. Attorney: “Aiding our declared enemy… We will hold him accountable by seeking an appropriate prison sentence and seizing his assets, including the $35 million mansion.”

Authorities say this highlights the need for stronger vetting and enforcement of sanctions against those helping adversarial regimes. LOCK HIM UP AND TOSS THE KEYS.
