The city needs leadership that wants to steward economic growth with an actual plan, so it isn’t at the mercy at the bidder with the deepest pockets, and narrow objectives.

I legitimately feel bad for the people who thought an arena would revitalize SEPTA & Market East. They were wrong, and thankfully wont get to see it come into fruition.

Anti-arena activist always highlighted how deceptive and dishonest the 76ers owners were.

Everyone should be mad at the 76ers, and City Council. They had no interest in ensuring a development in center city was best for Philadelphians.

Market East needs more than just capital, it needs investment in the broader sense of the word.
