Threats of violence is exactly that. A threat. It’s why no one can respond to me and tell me how words themselves are violent. They cannot.
@joyboydesciple Terroristic threats? Criminal threats? How about you explain to my how words in themselves are violent. If I go on a plane and say I have a bomb but I don’t, I’m getting arrested for my words yet I wasn’t violent. Not sure how I can make this easier to explain.
@joyboydesciple@kittybarbb@McGriffoles@TicketTV1 It’s in the sentence you just said to me, a “threat”. Not violent. Words cannot be violent, if you make a psychical act towards me that could be violent.
@kittybarbb@McGriffoles@TicketTV1 Wrong. Violence has to have a physical action.
Any “violence” from words is simply from the listeners pre-existing vulnerabilities.
@zimwhodey@AlbertBreer You can say that about every player in NBA history. LeBron and MJ didn’t have a single team that “didn’t help” and calling the Spurs a “superteam” when there was multiple teams in the WEST that were favored over them? Entering Game 7 Spurs were +55 with Wemby on, -37 with him off
