@Doom_Squid He isn't solely dedicated to it, but @edgarwright will often post about obscure films in general and including horror/sci-fi.

Plus he's pretty awesome so worth a follow on his own merit.

All that work to make a fun puzzle in an awesome world with compelling characters is squandered with unprompted hints.

Lemme look around some and maybe fail a few times. Let ME decide when I want a hint.

Whelp, another game with puzzles and a companion and another tweet BEGGING devs to let me solve puzzles at my own pace. You ruin the experience by giving hints too soon.

Give me a way to prompt for help if I'm stuck. It's like playing with Clippy as a companion 😠

In their defense, I understand that maybe some playtesters got frustrated with some puzzles and a way to help is to add those voice prompts

But you deprive players of the joy of discovery by treating them all as if they want help right away
