This is the Liberal that Carney named President of the Treasury Board—the biggest single employer in Canada, responsible for approving all major government discretionary spending.
Would you trust him with your money?
If you reduced your spending by $100 on some items, but increased it $150 on other items, would you say you saved $100?
This is argument the federal government is making.
If the Liberal Minister believes his government has been “very transparent” with Canadians, then why has he released proposals that would destroy Canada’s Access to Information Act?
I’ve sponsored petition E-7284 to stop this. Add your voice here: https://t.co/6Fy5Qsh05V
Happy Pride Month, Calgary.
Pride began as a protest. It was a demand for equal rights, equal treatment, and equal dignity. Every gain was earned by people who refused to stay silent in the face of discrimination and hate.
To gender and sexually diverse Calgarians: you belong here. You always have. You helped build this city from the beginning, as workers, business owners, artists, volunteers, community leaders, friends, and family. Those who seek to erase you, target you, or strip away your rights are wrong. We will oppose them. We will confront hate wherever it appears.
We will defend your right to live openly, safely, and proudly. And we will win. The future of Calgary will not be shaped by fear, resentment, or exclusion. It will be built by people who believe every person has value and every person belongs. The forces of intolerance have lost before, and they will lose again.
We are moving forward. We are not going back.
Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre says everyone in his party will be campaigning for Canadian unity in Alberta.
He says as prime-minister-in-waiting, he will personally be campaigning across the province to encourage Albertans to stay in Canadian family.
Went to the Whitecaps game this Saturday. Nearly 30k people in attendance, and the team is dominant. and might be the best in MLS. One of the more historic teams in North America.
The city and province need to work with the team and figure out how to keep the Caps, it would be a tragedy to lose them. #savethecaps
Nearly 8 in 10 Canadians now say the cost-of-living crisis is outpacing their income.
This comes just days after RBC found that Liberal policies have driven away more than a trillion dollars in investment and opportunities for Canadians.
I'll continue to use my voice in Ottawa to propose real, common sense solutions to address the Liberal created cost-of-living crisis.
A recent survey shows 84% of farmers rate Carney’s performance as an “epic fail.”
The real question is which Liberal policy pushed them there?
Maybe too many to count🧐
Glad the CPC doesn’t have a youth wing. I can’t believe how infantilizing it must feel to be 25 years old and have your party still relegate you to the kids table.
Proposed changes to the Access to Information Act would shield the government from information requests and weaken transparency and accountability in Canada.
I’ve sponsored petition E-7284, which calls on the Liberals to withdraw these amendments and fully consult Canada’s independent Information Commissioner before making any changes to the Act.
