There’s never been a better example of the difference between what it means to win on the PGA Tour over LIV Golf than there is today.

22 year old, Akshay Bhatia can get the final invite to the Masters if he takes down the Texas Open, even though it’s his first full field win. But Talor Gooch can win his 4th LIV event in 12 months today in Miami and it still won’t get him to Augusta National. Or to any majors for that matter.

Major access is the single biggest factor preventing the growth of LIV and it should be the number 1 priority for the league to address. It helps build context and storylines, but more importantly, the players deserve it.
