It is an honor to have an opportunity to carry on my brother, best friend and teammate @zac_plantz at Providence. We know he is looking down, guiding us and excited about where the Celtics are going… #TheCelticStandard
After losing his brother in 2020, @Tyler_Plantz found himself drawn back to their high school alma mater. Plantz, who spent seven seasons as an assistant at the University of Notre Dame, is returning to @PC_Celtics_FB to take over for Mark Coglianese.

I could not be more proud of or thankful for the Class of 2026. These young men came in as freshmen my first year at Providence, and they believed, worked hard, and gave everything to something bigger than themselves. These young men walk away better men and with a bond they will carry for the rest of their lives.
The bar you have set for the coming generation of Celtics will be felt and celebrated for years to come as you have helped elevate Providence football to the standard of old. We will forever be grateful for that.
These young men were also rocks for me during some of the most challenging years of my life. The love, trust, and grace these guys showed me is something I will carry in my heart forever. Seeing you guys head out these last couple days has been a challenge…
Thank you for all you have done for Providence. The sky is the limit as you step into the next chapters of your life.
