How tragic that this film with a this whimsical magic fight scene gets hated on just because of small details like the entire story being total dogshit
"I have to steal the Declaration of Independence because there's a treasure map on the back" is objectively the best plot ever for a movie. We're not going to be able to top that.
The part where Luke tosses aside his lightsaber, symbolizing not only his rejection of the dark side, but also his surpassing of the Jedi before him, is the defining moment of the saga for me, and one of the greatest moments in cinema in general

On the 17th of September 1984, the 1st episode of The Transformers aired. Based on the Transformers toyline by Hasbro & Takara, the series was a huge success & helped give rise to one of the most recognizable & commercially successful media franchises.
