Cam Schlitter's average velocity freshman year of college at Northeastern was 88.8mph. By his junior year, it was 90.4mph.
Last night, it was 98.9mph.
So maybe don't worry if your 15-year-old son isn't already committed to a SEC program?

Be the CEO of Your development
Your coach can give you the blueprint.
They can teach, guide, correct, and support.
But they canโt do the work for you.
At the end of the dayโ
You are the CEO of your game.
Your effort?
Your responsibility.
Your habits?
Your decision.
Your future?
Fully in your hands.
Coaches are like advisors in a business.
They help you see the path.
They give you tools to grow.
But theyโre not the one clocking in for you.
Theyโre not the one showing up early, staying late, or doing the extra work when no oneโs watching.
Thatโs your job.
Great players take ownership.
They donโt blame.
They donโt wait.
They donโt hope someone else will want it more than they do.
The players who separate themselves?
They move like professionals before theyโre ever paid like one.
They lead themselves, then others follow.
They build something worth watching.
So hereโs the truth:
You have guidance.
You have support.
Now itโs on you to execute.
Be the CEO of your game.

2025 Player Spotlight ๐ฆ
Jack Doyle - Madison Academy - UAH signee
Check out these numbers on the year โฌ๏ธ๐คฏ
Unbelievable season for Jack. Super proud of this guy!
@jack_doyle21
You put me on a track man screen at a golf course and I will have some of the craziest metrics youโll ever see. Tour level stuff. But, I am not a great golfer. The key is getting the ball in the holeโฆ scrambling and finding a way. This is exactly compares to so many I see now in baseball. At show cases or metrically they measure off the charts. Sometimes that correlates. But the question isโฆ can you play the game? Can you actually hit or pitch or are you just chasing numbers. The numbers are fine and useful. But you still have to play the game. You still have to be a gamer. There is a difference, believe me.
Congratulations to @UAH_BSB senior Brock Butler on earning @NCBWA D-II National Hitter of the Week!
Butler went 9-for-15 last week with seven drawn walks, three doubles, and five home runs along with 10 RBI and 13 runs scored!
๐จUPSET ALERT๐จ @UAH_BSB rallies for FIVE runs in the bottom of the eighth, the big hit coming from a 2 RBI single from Will Noles! The Chargers then closed it out in the 9th to win 8-6 to beat No.19 Carson-Newman!
