Quick story about how I cracked Google's code with NLP… 🧑💻
Ran tests on two identical articles. One written normally, one written in NLP-friendly format. The difference? Position #1 vs Position #12 on Google.
Here's what Google's algorithm loves:
✅ Clear subject-verb-object structure
✅ Zero fluff words
✅ Direct statements
✅ Simple language
Example: "HTML is the core language for creating web pages."
What it hates:
❌ Complex sentence structures
❌ Ambiguous phrases
❌ Fancy marketing speak
❌ Abstract concepts
Example: "Revolutionary HTML empowers stunning webpage experiences."
Is AI hype a bubble or the next big thing?
Magnificent 7 stocks are 30 TIMES higher than where they were 10 years ago, exceeding gains of other historical manias.
The Nasdaq 100 rose 12x in 10 years before the 2000 Dot-Com Bubble popped.
The Nikkei 225 rose 10x in a decade during the Japanese bubble of the 1980s.
Furthermore, Gold saw a 15x increase in price in the 1970s before its peak.
Lastly, Nifty Fifty stock prices rose 5x in the 1960s before the bull market ended in 1969.

Bullish sentiment is through the roof:
US households, mutual funds, pension funds, and foreign investors' financial asset allocations in US stocks hit a record 54%.
Since the 2009 low, this percentage has DOUBLED, exceeding the 2000 Dot-Com Bubble peak of 51%.
On the other hand, allocation to debt instruments like bonds has dropped by 9 percentage points to an all-time low of 18%.
At the same time, cash allocation has fallen to 13%, near the lowest on record.
Investors are all-in on stocks.

I always enjoy reading Noah Smith's always thoughtful and often brilliant pieces on macroeconomics, but while he doesn't always agree with me on trade (and vastly overstates my influence), this is the sort of discussion we should be having in the US.
