Northumberland Scouts are delighted to announce that following the search for a new District Commissioner for Tynemouth.

We are delighted that Phil Rowell has accepted the role of Tynemouth District Commissioner with effect from today.

A huge congratulations to Corey Hogg for completing his Scouts of the World Award this evening!!

A successful setup day for dimmer camp. All tents up. Kitchen working well. A cooling sit down at the river and a chicken dinner. We coped with the weather and are ready for young people arriving from 8am. @18thTynemouthSc @PeterThorp5 @TynemouthScouts

Ceri Finn (@FinnCeri), member Pioneer Coordinator for the North East, visited Cedarwood yesterday with a food donation from the @coopuk.

The food (all fresh and untouched) was left over from a barbecue held by the @TynemouthScouts, and they wanted it to go to a good cause.

Tynemouth Sea Scouts hosted an amazing beach barbecue for scouts, their families and supporters last night. Tynemouth Co-op store provided a £150 community donation to make sure everyone was well fed. Looks like you all had a wonderful time. #ItsWhatWeDo @coopuk @TynemouthScouts
