We have had an arty week so far, firstly finishing our Georgia O’Keefe inspired sunflower pictures. We then created pictures on the laptops inspired by Mondrian.
On a beautiful spring day we decided to take our learning outside. We used our new skill of measuring with a ruler to find the length of all sorts of natural materials.
Hello. This week we sent a list of words in your child's book bag. We would really appreciate you reading them at home. If you would prefer a video to watch here are some helpful links.

Thank you very much.
After learning a bit more about the zones of regulation the children made a biscuit to show the different zones, green, red, yellow and blue. Can you guess how each biscuit is feeling? We were all feeling pretty ‘green’ when we got to eat them!
Today we had to pretend to interview the great explorer Amelia Earhart. We thought of some really fantastic questions. I liked ‘do you like to sing while you’re flying?’ I wonder if she did!
We had a great time celebrating World Book Day today. We wrote about our characters in English, had some year 5 friends come to read and make bookmarks with us and really enjoyed the new book Miss Buckley bought us too!
Next week we are thinking about different celebrations. If you have pictures of your child or family celebrating a religious or cultural festival - for example Eid, Diwali, Christmas or Lunar New Year - please can you send them in to class or e mail them to the office. Thank you!
