No it was the fact that my grandpa was also told when diagnosed in his 20's that there would soon be a cure. He's dead, I'm in my 30s, people are dying cause insulin is too expensive... NO CURE in sight

For reference, the CEO of the @AmDiabetesAssn made almost a MILLION DOLLARS from June-Dec 2018. Working an average of 37 hours a week. But in addition to donations for diabetics and heaps of Phrma money, the ADA wants taxpayer money. While we suffer/die bc we can’t afford insulin

Hubby mad cause I am irritated but "we both tired".He hosted a workshop locked in his office for 8 hours today. I wrote 2 PRs, attended 3 meetings, reviewed draft proposals, watched/taught/fed the kids, did washing, cooked, vacuumed, took sick dog to vet. MY TIRED IS DIFFERENT!!

What is it with in laws?? I started out marriage by keeping a polite distance and 10 years later we all kind of don't like each other anyways as opposed to just being indifferent. Is it just a way of life? Like how we all don't like Mondays???

Do you also have that ONE store where you always feel a low coming on?? Just happened to me again and as I walked out into another store to buy juice I all of a sudden realized I feel ok. Checked and bg was 7. That store seriously gets me every time!!!

My sons 25 year old friend survived Covid and was taken off the ventilator last week.

After being home for a couple of days he got sick again.

He was hospitalized with kidney failure and put on dialysis.

Last night his heart stopped.

This disease is monstrous.
