@GaijinMommy Look at the left most numbers and see that they are multiples of 11 (11,22,33,…,99, 110, 121, …). And then next to those are multiples of 12, and so on. What’s even more amazing is he probably wrote this in a row fashion, to which the pattern would be 11+1, 22+2, 33+3…genius!
Engineers are smart enough to optimise for whatever is measured. Ask for “hardcore” coding samples and instead of deleting code, or changing configs - ppl will just write more code.
Ask for business results and people might achieve them with eg config changes / little code.
COVID: "Trust me. It's mild"
HUMAN: "But I've heard it's a vascular endotheliopathy affecting every blood vessel & every organ in your body, possibly for life".
"Assume good intent" isn't always good advice. Sometimes it sets people up for gaslighting.
People with Dark Triad traits—narcissists, takers, psychopaths—rarely look out for your best interests.
If someone has a pattern of selfishness or abuse, it's wise to watch your back.

I think my biggest financial problem is I grew up poor asf so now that I make my own money I don’t know how to budget. I’m always gonna spend the extra penny for quality cause I can and I hate the feeling of being limited on what I can do bc of a price tag
It’s easy to shrug and say nothing will ever change. But when they don’t, all you’ll have in the end is a cynical sense of having been right.
I’d rather fight on with the hope that things can and must change. If they don’t, at least I will die knowing I have given it my all.
Too heartbreaking. Had to pause reading twice because I was about to bawl while in the train. The picture of their bodies on the ground moments after they died... Their lives snuff out just like that. And the grandparents just behind them who saw it all. Too tragic.
