@realamlug @evenstensberg 🤣

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@realamlug They have poured their life into mastering a language, which makes them the "guru" at work. Anyone proposing a different language is a threat to their livelihood. The same goes for frameworks.

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@realamlug Thanks, @realamlug. You are correct. Use of a GC is far superior to reference counting for a language like JavaScript.

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@wwwalkerrun @davedbase @NativeScript Love it!

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@RyanCarniato Statically compiled TypeScript. e.g., PerryTS. I want to share code between browser and server (e.g., zod), so they need to be the same language.

@DanShappir @JSJabber @cmaxw @wonder95 Bummer. It was, by far, the best tech podcast I used to listen to.

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

Does anyone know why the publishing of the JavaScript Jabber podcasts has stopped? @DanShappir @JSJabber

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

PerryTS got a mention in this week's JavaScript Weekly: https://t.co/LcZvqI4BPz!

@wwwalkerrun @NativeScript This guy's work is incredible!

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@RyanCarniato Good to know. Thanks! Keep the great work on SolidJS!

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@RyanCarniato Thanks, @RyanCarniato . I meant non-experimental support, so I can use it in a production app after Solid 2.0 goes stable. 😀

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@colinhacks This guy's work is incredible!

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@realamlug Nice work, @realamlug

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@triniwiz @wwwalkerrun Wow! Thanks, @triniwiz!

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

Nice work on NativeScript 9.1, @wwwalkerrun!

The release notes for 9.1 imply that, at some point, support for Windows will be added. True?

If so, I hope you only support the modern WinUI framework with its Fluent design.

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@colinhacks Darn! My feature request (#6011) didn't make it into 4.5. ☹️

[Modern Development @TypeScriptFTW]

@realamlug @colinhacks I never liked it either for the same reason.
