WE ARE GOING UP! ⬆️
After tonight’s results, we have secured 2nd place and promotion back into Ardal South! This is a massive achievement for all the players, coaches, and volunteers at the club. We have also achieved our tier 3 license confirming promotion! 👊

@bradley_steve@StandUpForBarry@DaleyBlindFC@johnmactravels@FAWales@CymruLeagues Spot on Steve - I’ve obtained both the Tier 2 and Tier 3 licenses for Penydarren over the last five years; two failed initially, both won on appeal as there were minor issues with what we submitted; one was a simple COMET generated report error on staff - easy to slip up on
@sophiejohnsey There are no words to describe this 100% increase
As sec of a club with 400 playing members, this will cost Penydarren an extra £2,500 a year at least
@ABargoed@NoelMooney13 Technically a transfer is a registration, I’d be amazed if a transfer remains at £10 whilst a registration gets a 100% hike to £20
@AFCceiber@FAWales@RCTCouncil Non domestic rates from Merthyr Council also doubled, after the Bont facility at Penydarren had its new valuation through from the valuation office
Welsh water doubled in cost over the last two years
And there’s gas and electricity of course sad😭
@CYMROPORT Uzbekistan was quality Tom, glad me and the youngsters done those three days there, although would have liked to have spent some time in Almaty - Astana was quite a strange place from what I saw in 24 hours
For any Welsh fans in Uzbekistan hoping to catch a CAFA Cup match:
