Finally, we can announce our second full-length album, "The Gate of the Veiled Beyond". Early drafts and ideas were written right after "Beneath the Streams of Life" in 2018 but as the pendulum of time swings in its own rhythm, completion took longer than expected.

With heavy hearts, we have to announce that, our vocalist, M.W. Styrum has decided to leave Typhonian. M.W. came into the band in 2017 and since then delivered absolutely fantastic vocal performances for all three Typhonian releases. (1/2)

2024 has to be one of the best years for the label. We're proud to have put out these releases and it's been an honour to work with the bands on them. As tiring as it can be, we're glad to put some of the newer bands on the map with their debut full lengths. I'm particularly pleased with how the roster is shaping up, having a healthy, bold mix of various styles - it makes the kind of playlist that I wouldn't tire listening to. Deepest thanks to the bands for the great music, memories, and friendship, and of course to the fans for supporting our music and making us go on despite all the odds and setbacks, and even helping out dozens of rescued animals in the process.

2025 promises to be another tremendous year with releases lined up from bands both familiar and new. In addition to the ones that have been announced, you can look forward to new releases from Byonoisegenerator, Floating, Imperialist, Crypts Of Despair, Serpent Corpse, Dead Chasm, Skaphos, Thorn, Depravity, Dead and Dripping, Viande, 71TONMAN, Dwelling Below, Enragement, Dysgnostic, Mors Verum, Defect Designer and more TBA! Transcending Obscurity Records receives best label of the year honour from @DeadRhetoric! I’m humbled beyond words; I just remember being too busy, tired, and even antisocial all year to actually sit and reflect back on things. I guess I must’ve done something right somewhere in the process. Heartfelt thanks to the bands for giving a far away label a chance and to the constantly spammed fans for putting up with it all. It feels like it’s been all worth it in the end.
