@lfcskz@MrPricco@LFC_PAUL_@KayLFC05_ He was good enough to make just 4 appearances for a relegated West Ham side. Glasner was probably onto something when discussing the replacement of his club captain
@KayLFC05_ No release clause. The contract he agreed to has 3 years remaining. He’s our player. We set the price. Meet the price we set (before the final day of the window this time) or meet someone else’s. Either outcome works for us.
@KayLFC05_ Sold Olise because Bayern triggered his release clause. Sold Eze because his contract was up soon (same as Guehi). Neither bid came in on the last day of the window like Liverpool’s did for Guehi. Wharton isn’t in a similar situation. We ain’t here to do you favours.👍🏾
@Tristan_T_I@dan_ofthesouth@Shu7e Same guy said we’d be playing Europa league football this season. I seem to recall us winning the conference league. “Reliable”
Depends how successful your club is imo. If your club has recently enjoyed major success, you’d much rather see your country win it.
And that’s why, on the back of 3 trophies in a year for Palace, I’d rather win the carabao cup than win the World Cup.
Call me a weird twat, but I’d much rather see England win the World Cup than any kind of club success. I’d love to experience the joy of a whole country celebrating rather than just my own club’s fanbase.
the reality is that we’ve got two seasons of european money now, plus a strong squad and possible Olise sell on. We simply don’t need the money like we did a couple years ago, top 6 supporters in the replies can’t grasp that
We have other sellable assets & already made recent sales in Andersen, Guehi, Eze & Olise. All for a profit. And we’re a premier league club. We don’t need the money as much as you think we do. Match the price or stay within your price range
Numbers have meanings. 100m means fuck off. It’s above market value, but the selling club doesn’t benefit from selling a player of that calibre for less. Why would we price a player by their market value when we neither want or need to sell him?
@aaaaaaaaaasshh@henryswainjourn@ohjoewalker Which was my point. Wharton is the significantly better passer, but he takes far more risks than Lerma when he’s facing the goal which decreases the completion rate. Lerma plays safe passes, but will see them intercepted regularly
