I didn't know a potential respondent can unilaterally determine damages due of a future civil claim, and settle on that basis

@cibriddon @neilreynoldsnfl Very true, but the mere threat of a 3rd possession advantage, still creates an advantage to the receiving team A 2pt conv is harder than a PAT and more likely to fail. A TD is harder to achieve than a FG...

Also, If your trying to match a TD, 2nd team needs also to hit a 2 pointer, not PAT.

The 4 downs advantage really only manifests itself in 4th & mid-long when you're already in trouble.

& SF defence got a needed breather
