You are as likely to lose your gear in the next run (to players or mobs) as to keep it, so I doubt many vet runners are actually too attached to their gear anyway. It's all temporary, you are only borrowing it. Almost all of it is easy to replace.

@CookieJarBandts @MarathonMedia01 The free kits (which get better with more rank) or rook let's you explore and try stuff risk free, as well as build up gear or credits to purchase stuff. It just will take some getting used to know where and what to loot, grab what you need and get out.

@Hellen__TK @MarathonMedia01 You are right now playing a new level one character. As you get more rank and unlock upgrades, not even talking about better mods,.you heat and movement all get better. The start is not the endgame. And they are drastically different.

@PaulTassi Here's the thing. Unless you yourself want the accomplishment of pushing, there is not much reason to push max light right now. I am all for the way it's working, and loving it, I always thought the change of power grind was a loss.

@PaulTassi Pre EoF I typically ran in the 20s or 30s for recovery. Post EoF my health is in the 30s, healing and Regen of shield feels about the same. But, I am a warlock and use a loft of rifts, so.... /Shrug.

@PaulTassi I think that's probably low. I've seen a lot of rank 1-5 guardians running around, and those only come with brand new players.
